My First Quilt Finish of 2022 from Quilts + Color

I started this quilt only a little over 2 years ago.

I did spiral quilting on it which is one of my favorite ways to quilt.

It's a great feeling to have it finished.

Eggs and Bacon from Sew Preeti Quilts

Happy to be Scrappy

Me: Good morning
Paul (groan)
Me: Would you like some breakfast?
Paul: Do we have bacon?
Me: I don't think so.
Paul (Bigger Groan + A Whine)
Me: I can make you an egg sandwich.
Paul: Without bacon??? Why did you wake me up anyway?

How to put these together?

The smaller block needs help

Black floral + orange/yellow stripe is better than just the stripe

Matched size = Success

And so it grows!!!

Eggs without bacon is an insult...at least in Paul's opinion.
So when this cute pig ended up next to the eggs ...

Quilted In One Day from Quilts + Color

I had pieced this quilt top a few months ago.
It took me a while to get to the quilting.
I love doing spiral quilting and was able to do all the quilting in one day.
It is about 36 x 45 inches.

Improv Project {Progress} + Midnight at the Oasis Quilt {Progress) from Samelia's Mum

I have some progress for my Conquering Quilty Feary - Improv project to share today. The cushion is all sewn together and quilted and I just need to sew on the binding.

As it's not quite finished, I'll try to hold off sharing the completed project until the end of the month (but a sneaky little peak won't hurt). Right?
